Why the second big chop?

This TWA was captured around December 2012, my original big chop. Four months post big-chop.

Chopping my hair for the second time around was the best decision made. Previously learning that having natural hair requires time and most of all moisture. Moisture is what gives the hair definition. Without moisture, our hair tends to loc up or mat up for lack of a better term. Unless locking your hair is your ultimate goal, moisture is the key. Remember, if at first you don't succeed with your hair goals, dust your hair off and try again.
2017, Second big chop. As you can see the edges are laid, coils are slayed. Now, it's time to get paid. I am happy to announce, that graduation is in December. Very anxious to see what these coils will look like that very day.
