LOC Method Continued...
Good Evening ladies and gents!!!
Are you questioning your hair? where's the moisture? Where's the shine?
If so, no worry ladies & gent!!
This blog, is specifically based off of my hair experience. I am told I have type 4 hair. I really don't care for hair typing, but I do believe what matters is our porosity. I have high porosity. On a good wash day, it takes a full 24 hours or less to air dry depending on the style. For my hair, air drying without any product, is a disaster waiting to happen. Knot Central- Knot-ville, lol
In order to help maintain moisture and minimize the knots, is to use the LOC method. I do mine in LCO order. If you aren't hipped to the various acronyms used within the community, it stands for Liquid, Oil, Cream. For my liquids, I use water, Oils, I use almond and jojoba and Creams I use microwaved shea butter and a leave in conditioner. I usually mix all together in a bottle including water. Then I two strand it to help the air dry process speed up. I am a true two strand fan. My whole hair philosophy is less manipulation of the scalp, more hair growth. With two stranding, this also helps retains hair length. Along the length, you see lots shine and moisture. I use this same method on my daughter as well. She's a 'born natural' child.
Sn: Another thing you can use during this method is the Olive Oil eco styler gel. It is another great staple.
